Explainer: Three main objectives

The objective of Danmarks Nationalbank has remained almost unchanged for the 200 years, the central bank has existed. The objective is to "maintain a safe and secure currency system in this country", as the law says. The description still fits the tasks of Danmarks Nationalbank today although the ways we maintain the safety and security has changed over the years.
