The wealth in active stock funds still largest

The wealth in passively managed stock funds has more than doubled since January 2018, but the wealth under active management is still larger. The wealth in passive stock funds has increased from kr. 45 billion in January 2018 to kr. 116 billion in May 2023, which especially is due to increased investments in passive funds. In comparison, the wealth in active stock funds has been almost unchanged. In the same period, 21 new passive stock funds opened while a total of 6 active stock funds have closed.
