Financial Stability
One of the principal tasks of Danmarks Nationalbank is to contribute to the efficiency and stability of the financial sector, which are among the essentials to maintaining sound macroeconomic development. Central elements in this work are analyses of the situation in the financial sector, with special emphasis on the banks, and of how the financial sector is affected by macroeconomic trends and movements in the financial markets. The analyses are based on the risks to which the financial sector is exposed.
